KC Armstrong teamed up with UnitedHealthcare in early March for a whirlwind trip that took him from the beaches of Oahu to the Mojave desert to shoot the action packed still images for the “Health in Numbers” campaign you are now seeing nationwide. Working along side a huge broadcast production has it’s advantages… more toys! From watercraft and surf wranglers to state of the art camera cars all helping KC to get the perfect camera angle, whether underwater or along side a racing motorcycle. Congratulations to Laurie Rubin on her big win! Laurie was one of 166 winners selected from 5520 entries for the Communication Arts’ Photography Annual 2011, honored in the category of “For Sale” for her on going personal project. Communication Arts featured four images that were printed in limited editions for a gallery exhibit and for sale and were also printed as small ink-jet prints mailed for a self-promotion. KC Armstrong teamed up with Red Bull for a striking new series of outdoor ads featuring KC’s dynamic images of powerful defenceman and captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Dion Phaneuf. Dion looks fierce against the dramatic Toronto sky line and in action on the ice. The massive images are currently dominating Toronto’s Union Station and Dundas Square.
